Dear Laotian Community,
Last month I received a phone call from Edwin Chandrasekar the Executive Director for Asian Health Coalition asking if I would be interested in being interviewed for their September Community Catalyst Spotlight. I am so honored to be the featured story on their website. I would like to thank everyone that helped to mold me into the person that I am today. First of all I would like to thank God for everything, the good, the bad, and the ugly in my life. You always seem to have a way of giving me beauty for all of my ashes. Next, I would like to thank my parents and other family members, who have been there for me through my ups and downs in life and have taught me the value of servant hood and helping others. I would also like to thank my good friends and church family, who have celebrated with me through my success and have been a shoulder for me to cry on through my trails. Many thanks go out to my Lao American Organization of Elgin family, who supports my bright ideas and vision. Last but definitely not least, I would like to thank the Lao community for opening your arms and welcoming me into your lives. That means so much to me. Without all of you, this article would not be possible. So with that being said thank you with all my heart!
