May 12, 2012 – Lao New Year Celebration presented by the Lao Youth Leaders.
Come join us as we celebrate our New Year. The Lao Youth Leaders will be presenting an educational tour on the customs and culture of the Lao New Year. This year Mayor Kaptain of Elgin, State Senator Michael Nolan, and State Representative Keith Farnham will be joining us to celebrate. Please join us and support our Lao Youth Leaders.

The Lao Youth Leaders will be hosting their Lao New Year Party to ring in the new year of 2555. People of all ages are welcomed to attend. The day will be filled with activities such as traditional dance, food, games, etc. Come learn and experience Lao culture.
